The staff at Santa Fe Hand
Daphne Currier
is the owner and founder of Santa Fe Hand Therapy, LLC,. She has practiced occupational therapy for 40 years, 32 of those years serving the Northern New Mexico area. Originally from the Panama Canal Zone, she received her Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s Degrees in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida, specializing in physical dysfunctions. Daphne is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapy as well has having advanced training in splinting and rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity (traumatic, orthopedic and neurological injuries.) She has lectured in the Occupational Therapy Departments at Texas Women’s University and University of New Mexico. Concentrating heavily on upper extremity rehabilitation since 1990 she has developed successful upper extremity programs in both hospital and private settings. In April of 2007, Daphne opened her own practice as a means to give the Northern New Mexican community a quality opportunity for occupational therapy in a warm personal setting. She is fluent in Spanish and treats all ages.
Jennifer Hayes
joined Daphne as the Office Manager when Santa Fe Hand Therapy was established in 2007. Originally from Brooklyn, NY she attended Hunter CUNY as an English major and History minor. Jennifer has over 30 years experience in medical offices, 18 of those years serving the Northern New Mexico area. She has worked in practices ranging from radiology, plastic and reconstructive surgery to internal medicine practices specializing in geriatrics and HIV. She is responsible for the daily running of the office in addition to billing and credentialing.
